Preparing for a wedding
Since I started this blog becuase I married a man who is passionate about computer programming, I thought I would share some tips and advice on how to prepare for a wedding. A wedding can become very stressful, but don’t become overwhelmed with responsibly. Hand out some resonsibilities to family members and trusted friends, as this will make you less stressed and let you continue to get on with other things. Some important things to sort out first, is of course the location for the marriage and after party. Whether it is a church, registry office, or beach, make sure you book this well in advance, before you start handing out invitations.

Once you have a church or registry office, and your after party venue you can begin to make, buy or print out invitations for people, to let them know when your special day will be. Organise a menu with the caterers or the management of the venue so your guests will have something to eat after the wedding. Make sure you have arranged transport though so you can get to reception from the church, and if you have people flying in from abroad, make sure all the heathrow transfers are arranged, booked and paid for, so nothing can go wrong. Don’t forget to order some lovely flowers for decoration, and choose ones that suits your theme so it makes the whole atmosphere seem really magical.

You will have a cake and dress to buy and outfits for your wedding party too. The groom will need a suit as well. Sometimes the bride and groom will give out favours to guests as a little memory of the special day, so don’t forget these! And of course, you will need your wedding rings too, this is important because this is what you will need to seal your marraige bonds. If you want to have a party in the evening you could hire an entertainer or even have karaoke for your guests to enjoy. Alcohol is optional but most people enjoy having a bar so they can have a few drinks and be merry on the day. The most important thing is not to become too stressed, remember it is about two people coming together and showing how much they love each other, so don’t turn into a bridezilla!
