Hello and welcome to my very first blog. So I guess this being my very first post I should probably tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Anne Nakheel (which, interestingly is Arabic for Palms, as in the tree) and am currently living in the North End of London. 

Last year I got married to the man of my dreams, who just happens to be a computer programer. Since then I have taken time off from my job and am raising the bouncing baby boy that we have had together, and I thought that this would be as good a time as any to start blogging and seeing if I can make it as a writer.
